Overview
Welcome to the Dexcom Developer Program
The Dexcom Developer Program offers developers the opportunity to apply for access to the Dexcom Web API and become an authorized Digital Health Partner. Authorized Digital Health Partners with Full Access to the API can market as an official Dexcom Digital Health Partner and are included on the Dexcom Partnerships Gallery.
The Dexcom Web API is RESTful and utilizes the OAuth 2.0 standard for authentication, allowing individuals to securely authorize their Dexcom CGM data for use in third-party applications. Adhering to privacy rules and regulations, Dexcom users control the permissions to their data and can revoke access to third-party applications at any time.
Using the Dexcom Web API, authorized Digital Health Partners can leverage Dexcom CGM data, such as estimated glucose values and events, to build or enhance their apps.
Data produced by a Dexcom CGM is an invaluable tool for people with diabetes and their care teams, and incorporating this data into your app can help users benefit from this resource in innovative ways.
To become an authorized Digital Health Partner and gain full access to the Dexcom Web API, the Dexcom Strategic Partnerships team will review your application and determine if Dexcom will authorize your request. Dexcom values all companies that are interested in the Dexcom Web API but reserves the right to decline Limited or Full Access requests for apps that do not meet certain commercial and technical standards.
View our Getting Started section to learn more about the process of becoming an authorized Digital Health Partner. Feedback can be submitted through the Support Requests section.
